The way pet parents take care of their pet child varies among pet owners as much depends on the breed and size of the dog. If any of you read Marmaduke, can you just picture him sitting in a dog booster seat, I know this is a hilarious thought, but a funny one. As we all know dog booster seats are for those tiny little dogs and not so tiny ones that cannot see out of the pet parents’ vehicle while going for a ride because they are too small, and beside how can you control the movement of the dog running back and forth in the front or back seat which is a serious distraction. If there was an accident and your doggie was not restrained in their dog booster seat, most likely the little one could be seriously injured.

Dogs riding in a vehicle want to see what is going on around them and with big dogs, there is not a problem, but little ones need a dog booster seat where they can be strapped in just like a child in their car seat and take in the sights. All dogs love to go riding to where ever their pet parents are going and the accommodations are no different for your furry friends as for yourself, pet parents wear safety belts for protection. I realize this is somewhat different, but the seat belt can, and will most of the time prevent serious injuries, so protect your pet child as well. Your dog needs to stay in one place during their ride and with having a dog booster seat for them, is a well-planned safety concern by the pet parent in protecting their little one. Be Happy!

Our pet children can develop various diseases, some very serious and when this happens, the pet parent immediately calls and makes an appointment to their veterinarian for a diagnosis of what is wrong with their pet child. Once the condition is determined the veterinarian will prescribe medications that pertains to the situation, and sometime that can cost more money than we expected, but what else is there to do. Some pet parents are aware of homeopathic treatment, but the ones that are not, much controversy is involved in the homeopathic dog meds mainly because the awareness was not available. Many supplements and herbs have proven to be very beneficial because of the natural treatments resulting by thinning the ingredient of the substance that is causing the problem.

There are many individuals including pet parents that may have doubts in this type of homeopathic dog meds, but many success stories show that the dilution of the ingredient used can be enormous and still be effective. Homeopathic dog meds respond very well to homeopathy for arthritis pain and epilepsy and is becoming to be a very popular way for treating animals. Persistent illness of the pet may possibly need several homeopathic remedy treatments before the illness subsides. There is a unique homeopathic treatment in liquid form referred to as ‘pet bounce’ and is administered into the dog’s mouth and absorbed quickly into their bloodstream by the tissues in their mouth, therefore it is up to the pet parent to do what they can realizing how terribly painful arthritis and dog joint pain is affecting their pet child. Be Happy!

Our pets are so important to all who are pet parents and perhaps sometime we go overboard in protecting them, but let us face it, they are just like children to us. We provide cute toys, clothes, special costumes for different occasions, and teach them to be obedient, why not provide a dog car seat that would protect them and help keep them safe and happy. Our furry friends love to go riding, but what about protecting them in your car if you usually take them along for rides to the grocery store, post office, or on long trips to visit Grandma and Grandpa. I have seen dog’s running back and forth in the back seat, and putting their head out the window, this is not a safe way to protect your dog, besides this uncontrollable dog could cause an accident, and you do hear about this happening quite frequently.

Personally, I would rather see a dog sitting in their dog car seat and taking in all the sights around them knowing they are safe, and if you have never seen this picture before, you are certainly in for a treat. Doggie’s that have their own dog car seat have a look of importance, and you can just see how content they are in riding along with their pet parent. Dog car seats are sometimes referred to as a dog booster seat, allowing more height for your dog to watch where they are going. There are many styles and colors to choose from that are affordable, well padded and convenient to handle and easy to wash, so be cognizant of your dog’s safety. Be Happy!

The pet child cannot tell their pet parent that their joints hurt, and how painful it is when walking or getting up and down from lying on the floor, or their bed. Aches and pains is something that comes from aging and sometime not being as healthy as they should be, will start bothering the pet child. Your pet does not have to be young or old, crippling can come at any age, that is why the pet parent should keep an eye on their pet and how they react to things involving any movement. Visits to the pet’s veterinarian will help to determine what kind of problem there is that is actually limiting them to their usual activities.

In the wild, the dog’s ancestors who suffered from arthritic pain had a natural inborn knowledge seeking vegetation plants and herbs when they were ill. The intelligence of the wild dog is probably unbelievable to some humans, but it is a known fact that they used plants for homeopathic pet joint pain for healing purposes. But, the intelligence of the pet in our society of pet lovers is not to be dismissed, because they know and feel that something is painful and may start to lick excessively on joints that are sore. A reliable homeopathic treatment for pet joint pain is an all natural plant-based homeopathic blend that is designed to help alleviate the pet’s symptoms due to arthritis pain, and is a liquid that is absorbed quickly into their bloodstream by tissues in their mouth. Be Happy!

Just how large is your dog? Small, medium or large is usually the size of all breeds, but the small (tiny) dogs have a big problem when going for a ride with their pet parents. How are they suppose to see what is going on around them while enjoying the ride? Safety is of utmost importance taking your dog for a ride. There are many ways that a pet parent can make sure, by purchasing a product to keep them in their place while riding.

Parents have seat belts and their small children ride in a car seat, so why not have a dog booster seat for your dog. Being small without confinement is dangerous, and it would not take much for an injury during sudden stops if the pet parent slams on the brakes, avoiding an accident. There are many varieties of dog car seats and booster seats, which are ideal for that tiny one. Would you believe there is a dog car seat on the market that contains the seat, suitcase, and even a bed? What a deal for traveling with your pet. Be Happy!

Dogs had a natural immune system for any pet joint pain that they may have had, and learned to overcome less serious diseases by ways of taking care of their body while in the wild, with a natural homeopathic treatment, resulting in animal materials and varieties of plants. When ingested into their system, a homeopathic healing defense geared toward their immune system had a healing effect.

Homeopathic pet meds are available in many forms and usually have no side effects. Sometime the dog may appear feeling worse with treatment, rather than feeling better, but with a few applications of Pet Bounce, the discomfort, swelling and stiffness associated with arthritis or joint pain will experience relief. This homeopathic treatment is in liquid form and has been designed to be absorbed quickly into the bloodstream. This way you know that the exact amount of drops is better than trying to force a pill down your dog’s throat. Be Happy!

Joint pain is a vicious cycle in pets, much like the pain humans experience. Pain in the joints of animals will eventually turn into a situation where the pet may not even be able to walk. If your pet suffers from this ailment due to arthritis, they do not feel like moving around as they once did, and by not exercising their joints, they become very stiff and even more painful. Exercise is important because moving them lubricates the joints affected and even some exercise is better than none. It would be wonderful if our pets could speak for themselves, but pet parents know from observation that their family friend and companion are hurting. When in pain dogs lick the affected joints that are bothering them, their muscle tone has been reduced, swelling is evident, and they are reluctant to climb stairs. Homeopathic pet meds is unique because the ingredients used at levels generally understood to be non-toxic, has no negative side effects. It is possible for a dog with “pet joint pain” to be able to run and play again with treatment in relieving their pain with continuous effort in maintaining their health. Homeopathic ingredients for certain conditions are based on “homeopathic proving” that has been recorded in the Homeopathic Materia Medica. Controlling your dog’s weight is important because the excess weight on their bodies makes it so much harder for them to move around, and if they are a large dog, hip problems may begin to bother them.

There are probably many forms of medication to relieve this particular ailment, but there is available a special homeopathic medication in oral drops, and is particularly affective for arthritis and joint pain. The homeopathic liquid ingredients in this oral medication, is designed to be absorbed quickly into the bloodstream via the mouth tissues. There are several ingredients that are combined together that when administered regularly, will ease your dogs pain. Try this homeopathic treatment and know that you, as their pet parents are trying to do what is best for their health. Be Happy!

If the driver had to slam on the brakes, your child or your dog could be thrown to the floor or even worst, up against the window. Then someone came up with the idea of a child’s car seat to maintain his or her confinement while driving. This saved many lives by being in their car seat. How many times have you seen pet parents driving with their dogs in their laps? This is so dangerous, what must they be thinking?

Then along came the dog booster seat, another great item geared toward “senior pet care products” where your dog can ride in comfort and still be able to see what is going on around them. Maybe you have not seen a dog in a car booster seat, if not; you have missed a precious experience. Some pet parents keep the dog car seat in the back so it will always be ready for taking their dog with them shopping or wherever. Keep in mind that the back seat is the safest because if the dog is riding in the front seat, and the airbag has been deployed, there could be severe injury to your dog. The dog booster seat is manufactured with the dog in mind because it is a solution that allows your dog to look out of the window, which is their natural urge to see what is going on outside. Watching cars, motorcycles, bicycles, children playing, dogs walking with their pet parents, and whatever other sights excite them can still be observed, but in the dog booster seat. There is a variety of products to make traveling with your dog easier than ever before. Styles, sizes, and colors to please the pet parent is what makes this so much fun, and having peace of mind knowing that your furry friend will be safe. Your dog does not have to stay at home; they can ride along with you and keep you company. The dog booster seat is quite adaptable to pets up to 20 pounds and easy to install. It would be great if your larger dog could have their own car seat, but for their size, dog safety harnesses are necessary. Be Happy!

As each day passes, I find myself becoming more afraid of what to wake up to the next morning. Pope has very bad arthritis, hip dysplasia, and neurological problems and has had this for over several years. In four more months he will be 14 years old and is a most wonderful companion and friend. We have gone through many obstacles together, losing one of his pet parents, moving to another state and having to accept the idea that we no longer live in the country. He was so happy there because he could run and play on several acres of land, and chase silly little animals that would annoy him. We were not use to neighbors being so close and little mutts barking at him every time he went out into our backyard. Going through his medical problems has not been easy, but somehow he knows his limitations. He takes four pills in the morning and two at night, but he will only swallow two of them in the morning. Camouflaging the rest of his pills is the only way he will swallow them otherwise he spits them out. He is so funny watching him smelling the ones he is suspicion of. Therefore, I got smart and started to put the pills in peanut butter. That was okay for a while, but then he got the ‘runs’. So then he had to take another pill he did not like.

Frustration began to sit in because he has to take his medicine to help him move around a little better. So I really got smart this time - Armor potted meat. Talk about a success, this was it. I take a small amount of potted meat, stick the pills inside and make a meatball. Down the hatch they go! During the day he sleeps most of the time, however, at night when we are in the family room together, unbelievably, he wants to play. He has his favorite toys and will stare at me as if to say, “get with the program Mom, its play time.” This is the part that really amazes me; I am thinking to myself what is going on here? One day I feel he is not going to make it and then he surprises me. However, after sleeping most of the day, he needs some exercise so this is his way. Exercising lubricates his joints, and that is what he needs to relieve some of the pet joint pain that he experiences. He knows when it is time to stop and lay down to rest. Then here comes his second wind. From the middle of his body to the front of his chest, he is very strong. It is his hips and back legs that are becoming very weak, and is more noticeable every day. In the meantime, we just do what we can to make him comfortable. Be Happy!

Petguardianangel and Petsafetyblog wish all a Happy Easter

I was just thinking the fun we had as children growing up and having Easter egg hunts on Easter Sunday. All the preparations ahead of time dying eggs, coloring them and creating delightful Easter baskets with goodies galore. Please keep in mind that dogs love chocolate, but do not give them any because it can be fatal. You do not want to experience a tragedy that could have been avoided. Give them one of their treats they love instead.

Just because we are not children anymore does not mean that this tradition should stop, and I am quite positive that it is still a celebration that will go on … Happy Easter , and Be Happy!
