Bathing Your Dog In Their Dog Bathtub Can Be Fun
Times has changed from bathing our pet child in the kitchen sink, family bathtub, or lavatory, now there are dog bathtubs that make it much easier to bathe your dog outdoors, or in the garage. The dog bathtubs are inflatable, has a bottom drain, can be hooked up to the garden hose, and has a walk-in and out that makes it easy for the pet child to get inside without their pet parent having to lift them up into the dog bathtub. Our summer is about to come to an end after Labor Day and it may not be possible to continue bathing your pet child outdoors, but it is necessary to keep our dogs clean so the grooming salon may be a better choice rather than try to bathe your pet child in your kitchen sink, bathtub, or lavatory. Some states remain warm during the winter months so continue to bathe your dog outdoors, if not, set the dog bathtub in the garage.
The best time to purchase a dog bathtub for your dog is when they are small because older dogs may not want anything to do with that funny looking thing. There are many products available for the new pet child, so think about what would be appropriate for their comfort and safety. If the pet child is an older dog then trying to convince them to walk into their new dog bathtub may be a huge issue, it may be easier to just take them to the pet grooming salon and not have to worry about it. However, if the pet child enjoys their bath, then continue to bathe them on a regular basis, this is a great way to bond with each other and have fun at the same time. Be Happy!
Did Your Dog Enjoy Their Dog Bathtub This Summer?
Years ago working with some really neat employees, every year I would say to my boss, “Fall is just around the corner, can’t you feel it in the air,” I would always get the strangest look, but with fall just around the corner there is something that I cannot explain, maybe you feel it too. Summer is ending and the pet child will no longer be able to get their regular baths outdoors, so what do you do with the pet child’s dog bathtub. If it is convenient to use the dog bathtub in the garage, then do so, if not then it may be time for the dog groomer to take over. Dog bathtubs have been fun for the pet parent and the pet child during the hot summer months, and taking advantage of a product that makes it easy for keeping the pet child clean, sure beats having to give your dog a bath in the family bathtub, or kitchen sink.
Of course, the kitchen sink is mainly for small doggies, but either way, getting a towel around them indoors before the shaking starts may not always be soon enough, it is sort of like who gets there first. I love to watch a dog after being bathed roll over repeatedly which evidently makes them feel good and happy at the same time. Sure can’t do this indoors though, there would really be a big mess, so just as soon as possible, wrap that doggie up in a big towel and hold on for dear life. Dog bathtubs have done their job during the summer with the convenience of being able to hook up to the garden hose, and having a drainage at the bottom making it handy and easy to empty the dog bathtub outdoors. Be Happy!
Everyone Has Their Own Bathtub, Even Doggies
Back when dog bathtubs were not heard of, and the pet parent wanted to bathe their dog, the kitchen sink was a good place, but only if the pet child was small and controllable. Some dogs were bathed in the bathroom if there was a bathtub that would accommodate medium to large sized dogs, but this was at times quite an experience if the pet parent did not watch out for the dog shaking water off their bodies when they least expected it. This was their way of ridding themselves of excessive water, but what a big mess that was. Brushing your dog before bathing is a good idea removing the excessive hair that they may be shedding, and during bath time there is not as much hair loss that makes cleaning up so much easier.
Dogs having their own dog bathtubs are now becoming very popular, and are so convenient because the bathing occurs outside the home.
The dog bath tubs are adaptable from large to small dogs, but if they are very tiny, it might just as well be easier and safer in a small tub of some sort, or even in the kitchen sink. Some people that are not pet parents most probably think that this is unsanitary bathing a dog in the kitchen sink, but why not. Tiny babies have been bathed in the kitchen sink from time to time and there was no harm to anyone, just clean out the sink as you would for anything else, and besides, the pet parent has control over the depth of water for the pet child to remain safe in an environment that is acceptable.
