I have seen tiny dogs in pet carriers before, but I came across the tiniest dog I have ever seen and thought to myself, how awful it would be if the pet parent did not have a small pet carrier for that precious prince or princess. There would be no way the pet parent could attach a collar and leash and walk down the street with such a tiny thing without harm coming to it by being stepped on by innocent human feet. Small pet carriers are available in many styles and colors for the tiny pet prince and princess and allowed in most public stores, whereas before you could not bring a pet into any public store. Times have sure changed in regards to pets and people have learned throughout the years just how much a pet means to their pet parents.

Why would any pet parent want to leave a tiny pet like that at home when you can carry them in a pet carrier? Companionship and togetherness between a pet and their pet parent is something that is hard to explain, if you are not one, and some people cannot accept having a pet, or does not want one to care for, sometime envy the closeness and the serenity of experienced by this relationship. There are various choices of pet carriers with handles and without that are handy in traveling to faraway places, and provide safety for the tiny one. To suggest dog car seats instead of carriers would not be the way to go for any amount of traveling, or for that matter, not any time, how could a tiny dog be strapped into a car seat, they are too tiny and precious. Be Happy!

Pet carriers are becoming more popular with pet parents who have a tiny dog. You can take your friend almost everywhere you go keeping them up off the sidewalks and store floors where someone may step on them. Being small, mighty, and yet prissy is a special classification that demands pampering. Their pet parent will be the envy of all small pet owners.

If you travel a lot and want to take your tiny pet with you, some airlines will accept pet carriers. Check with the airlines to make sure. Most all pet carriers have a bottom pad that is easy to remove for cleaning, and pockets for taking your pets essential supplies. How cute is this, seeing a tiny pet sitting comfortably in their pet carrier where some even have a chin rest. Oh boy! How could there possibly be such a glorious way of life. Be Happy!

Taking a weekend for fun to Grandma and Grandpa’s house is always an exciting trip for everyone including your pet. They may live a half a day’s travel, or perhaps just a little bit further, but being together for a weekend is necessary to keep in touch. They may not travel very much, so make it a point to visit and take your pet along. That is, if it is okay with them. Other animals do not take well to go visiting, but what fun it is for you and your dog. Traveling on the highway requires safety for your pet, so make sure they are contained in an area that is comfortable and has enough room for them to be able to turn around. Large dogs are contained in areas where they cannot interfere with their pet parent’s driving, such as a dog kennel that can be safety placed in the vehicle. If you do not already have a pet carrier and your dog is small, purchase one long before you decide to travel. Your dog must become use to the idea of their placement in the pet parent’s vehicle if they go along to visit. Choices are available in pet seat belts, a dog vehicle barrier, and perhaps pet crates. You as their pet parent know what is best for them.

Pet carriers are not for permanent use, and are ideal for small-domesticated animals up to 15 pounds. Traveling will be easy with your pet because all you have to do is place them in the carrier and take them out to your car. Making trips to the veterinarian’s office and your dog is small, check out the senior pet care product to transport them in their small pet carrier rather than on a leash. Trying to hold them until their time comes to see the vet, may not be a wise decision. There may be times when the vet’s office is very busy with patients and not all dogs and cats take a liking to each other in circumstances such as this. They are already stressed just by being in the vet’s office, especially if there are other pets around, so try to make them as comfortable as you can. Transporting your dog whether they are large or small, safety must always be a priority in case of slamming on your brakes for whatever reason. They will remain in their carrier or kennel and may get a bounce or two, but nothing like what could happened if they were loose in the vehicle. Take treats along and never forget their leash just in case you need it. Be Happy!

Petguardianangel and Petsafetyblog wish all a Happy Easter

I was just thinking the fun we had as children growing up and having Easter egg hunts on Easter Sunday. All the preparations ahead of time dying eggs, coloring them and creating delightful Easter baskets with goodies galore. Please keep in mind that dogs love chocolate, but do not give them any because it can be fatal. You do not want to experience a tragedy that could have been avoided. Give them one of their treats they love instead.

Just because we are not children anymore does not mean that this tradition should stop, and I am quite positive that it is still a celebration that will go on … Happy Easter , and Be Happy!

Pet carriers are not only fun for your dog, but for you the pet parent. You can take your dog anywhere you want and know that they will be safe. Containment in a vehicle is so important not only for you who are protected wearing your seat belt, but also for your dog. Accidents can happen without any warning, and you may not be prepared for circumstances, which could have been avoided. Pet carriers are ideal for small-domesticated animals up to 15 pounds. If you have a cat, ferret, a bird, even a rabbit, this carrier is easy to handle and is kept in place with a shoulder or lap seat beIt. If you do not have a regular kennel and your dog needs to relax, this pet carrier could be used for temporary accommodations so your dog will be comfortable within a reasonable amount of time. This carrier is not for permanent use, because there is not enough room even for small pets to move around and be safe.

Traveling will be easy with your pet because all you have to do is place them in the carrier and carry them out to your car. No need to keep removing the base of the carrier; just leave it in place for other times when you need it. The carrier clicks into the base of the carrier, and kept in place with a seat belt, much like baby car seats. This carrier is also handy when taking your dog to the veterinarian clinic. You will not have to worry about your dog running from one window to the other trying to see what is going on. They will remain seated in their carrier and are always under control in case of slamming on your brakes for whatever reason. Do not forget to take treats along and never forget their leash. The top opens up which makes it easier for you to reach them without a lot of commotion. Attach the dog’s leash through the top of the carrier and be ready to remove your pet and still have control. Be Happy!

How sweet this is. It feels like spring is almost here, hope I am not jumping the gun, but little pets love to go with their pet parents shopping. Just to be with each other is such a great feeling of togetherness and as the weather starts warming to temperature that are agreeable with little pet folks, it is time to think about purchasing a brand new pet carrier. You want to take your pet along with you and still be comfortable, even guys love to have that special pet with them, but carrying a pet on a shoulder sling will eventually cause health problems because your pet’s weight is not evenly distributed. There are many varieties of pet carriers and slings to choose from that will be just perfect for you and your dog to enjoy the closeness of cuddling, and at the same time bonding. This is a wonderful example of complete companionship. It is true that some pet parents prefer larger dogs rather than small dogs, and that is okay, but look at it this way, someone has to love and take care of them little ones. Large dogs have that excitement with their pet parents, but just in a different way. The most important thing for you to consider is that you will have the support needed in carrying your dog with you, and that you and your dog are comfortable together in doing so

Taking a large dog shopping is beginning to take hold in various stores, which I think is awesome, but your large dog will need extra care holding on to their leash and trying to pick up supplies, goodies, or whatever with only one hand. Your hands are not entirely free in controlling your dog. I know, I have one. However, if you have a small dog, purchasing a pet sling to carry around your shoulders would be ideal. You have your pet snuggling close to your heart while you still have the use of both hands. They are so adorable and have that look of sophistication and keeping them safe and close will avoid any unnecessary chances of other dog’s bothering them, and children wanting to pet them and give them a hug. Some dogs do not particularly care for that gesture and could decide to bite them out of fear and uncertainty.

Be Happy!

For the last week and a half, I have been working very hard to be able to offer additional items to my website. I feel that many of these items will be exciting in continuing the development in choices to additional products to increase pet safety items…There are so many products available that will help pet parents take better care of their pet than ever before. It seems as though products continue to increase toward pet safety. There are amazing and fun dog leashes, pet stairs that relieve the stress of our dogs trying to get up on their favorite chair, sofa, or bed. There are dog crates constructed with silver and gold wire (of course not real good and silver) and of different varities, some fold for storage convenience, and there will be bags to use in traveling, going to the park for a picnic, or camping. Various dog crate covers to help your dog have a cozy area for relaxation and is available in several different colors and sizes to match your home décor.

Can you image having a crazy name for a Dog Leash. What fun that would be. A dog collar that will alert vehicles with bold red or steady light inside durable red nylon sleeve; visible from up to one mile at night, in low-light and in no-light situations. Our illuminated pet collar is the most technologically advanced illuminated pet collar on the market. These innovative and durable products feature a quick-release buckle that snaps on or off in seconds. The top positioned D-ring is compatible with all standard leashes and can be used as either a primary or a secondary collar. Features include lightweight, weather resistant, black nylon webbing with two rows of reflective stitching, and a quick-release buckle that snaps on or off in seconds combined with adjustable sizing, it is safe and shock proof. It has been rated to last up to 200 hours on one standard watch battery, which is included. I am very excited about these new items for additional pet safety products. Keep tune!!! Be Happy!

I know all of you have at some time or another seen mothers carrying their small babies in something that looks like a pouch hanging around their neck. Well there is a product for small pets called a pet sling, sometimes referred to as a pet carrier. Taking our precious ones wherever we go is natural in bonding and feels good to have them close. Pet slings come in a variety of colors and are for doggies that weigh 25 pounds or less. Pet slings are easy to use and allows the pet parent to have their hands free to take care of other tasks. Some slings allow you to carry your pet in several different positions for additional comfort. There are also different ways to use the sling, sometime on your shoulders as if you would carry a shoulder bag, or around your neck. This type of sling may not be appropriate for anyone that may have back problems, but there is a pet carrier that distributes your pet’s weight across both of your shoulders and back, providing back support. Traveling with your pet and carrying them in a sling is stylish and pleasing to the eye. Some airports allow the use of frontal pet carriers walking through terminals, but only until you are ready to board the plane. Your hands would be free to carry your luggage along with the pet carrier, but before you do this, check with the airport. It will still be a requirement to put them back into their pet carrier so you can slip your pet under your seat. This type of travel is causing many conversational concerns with other passengers having allergies to pets.

Pet slings work well with pets that are disabled and have arthritis problems, missing a limb, heart disease, or diabetes. This situation requires special needs and the pet sling will offer the loving and caring that a pet parent can give to their disabled pet. They will be able to accompany their pet parents in going for walks, shop with them, or just doing daily activities, and still be able to enjoy the nourishment and stimulation outdoors and indoors snuggled close to their parent. Never use the pet sling as a car seat, or a bicycle seat, and do not wear the sling if traveling in a motorized vehicle, bicycle, scooter, skateboard or any similar activity. Accidents do happen and you and your pet could be seriously injured or killed. Make this an enjoyable pleasure. Be Happy!

Many products are now available to assist in caring for your senior dog, and even your pet bunny. As they grow older, problems start to appear and their dependency is upon their pet parents to make life easier and bearable. The different breeds of dogs have a different life span and as pet parents, the need to provide solutions in making their lives more adaptable, is well worth the effort. If you allow your dog to hang their head out of the vehicle window (which is not recommended), there are window bumpers that have a cushion for your dog to rest their head on for safety and slides on the top of the window. During travel or taking your dog walking, a portable spill proof water bottle container is handy keeping your dog hydrated. You carry a water bottle I bet, just for this same purpose. Have you seen the handy dispenser that holds biodegradable poop bags that attach to your dogs leash? What a neat idea.

Additional products offered in caring for our senior dogs are becoming more in demand in care giving. A sturdy mobility harness and a support harness working together for dogs that have arthritis, or severe hip problems, will be of upmost help to care for senior pets that have difficulty getting up and down. Mobility problems are the biggest challenge for your senior dog and understanding what all of these products have to offer including dog wheelchairs and used dog wheelchairs are affordable for them to live a long and happier life. Summer is just around the corner and the excitement of taking your dog along for a ride has always been fun for pet parents. Short rides are fun with so many different products available keeping your pet safe, but long rides or even vacations can be somewhat stressful in containing your active doggy, kitty or bunny. Controlling the activity of your dog riding in your vehicle includes many ideas. A pet carrier that can snap in and out of your vehicle similar to a carrier for a baby, is handy. It can be secured with a lap seat belt that will snap in or out in seconds with a quick release. This particular pet carrier will accommodate your pet up to 15 pounds, and can be used as a kennel, if needed. Please consider all of these wonderful products for your senior pet care. Be Happy!

It is a nice sunny day outside and you decide you want to go to your local mall, walk around shopping and enjoy your day, but you want to take your doggie along with you. Taking a large dog shopping is beginning to take hold in various stores, which I think is awesome, but your large dog will need extra care holding on to their leash and trying to pick up supplies, goodies, or whatever with only one hand. Your hands are not entirely free in controlling your dog. I know, I have one. However, if you have a small dog, purchasing a pet sling to carry on your shoulders would be ideal. You have your pet snuggling close to your heart while you still have the use of both hands. Let’s face it, they are adorable, and keeping them safe and close will avoid any unnecessary chances of other dog’s bothering them, and children wanting to pet them and give them a hug. Some dogs do not particularly care for that gesture and could decide to bite them out of fear and uncertainty.

There are many varieties of pet carriers and slings to choose from that will be just perfect for you and your dog to enjoy the closeness of cuddling, and at the same time bonding. This is wonderful for complete companionship. It is true that some pet parents prefer larger dogs rather than small dogs, and that is okay, but look at it this way, someone has to love and take care of them little ones. Large dogs have that excitement with their pet parents, just in a different way. The most important thing for you to consider is that you will have the support needed in carrying your dog with you, and that you and your dog are comfortable together in doing so. Be Happy!
