Dogs Safety Collars Can Be Flattering

Dog collars vary in making the right choice as to which one is best for your dog, but there should be no problem,  the micro-adjustable collar delivers the perfect fit and is not too loose, or too tight, but just right.  If your dog has a wire cage, precaution should be taken avoiding accidents where their tags could get caught, so always pay attention and make sure that the distance between the collar and the dog’s neck is safe.  The Cinch-It Adjustable Dog Collar is a similar technology like the snow and winter sports industry ratchet and pawl, resists water, odor and stains.  The one-handed release to remove the dog safety collar is quite handy and adjusts to the correct size comfortable for your dog,  providing a quick release mechanism by a slide lock, eliminates the risk of over tightening the dog’s collar.

The dog safety collar comes in various colors and medium and large sizes that bring out your dog’s hair color to enhance their beauty and/or handsome appearance.  My Chocolate Lab has a Lime-Green collar and really stands out with his chocolate colored coat.  Note: This picture is not my dog, but could be a twin even without a collar around his neck.  The locking mechanism is pretty awesome the way the collar adjusts, a little snug is good when out walking your dog, and a slight loosening for around the yard or the inside of your home for safety.  If caught on something and the collar is slightly loose, will give your dog the ability to pull out of their collar, avoiding a serious situation.    Be Happy!

Lighted Dog Collars Are Easy On Your Wallet

Do you put your dog’s lighted collar on along with their normal one for walking at night getting fresh air and exercise?  These lighted collars are amazing because they actually glow at night with headlights approaching the pet parent and their pet child.  The lighted dog collars have saved many dogs lives because the lighted collar provides visibility for drivers up to a mile ahead at night in a low light or in no light situation.  The lighted dog collar has a switch which provides three functions, off, steady and flashing modes, and uses one standard replaceable lithium watch battery.

Pet parents care about their pets and want to do the right thing in keeping them safe and happy, so never walk your dog at night without a lighted dog collar.  Reflector collars are okay, but they only reflect in the head lights of a vehicle,  but the glowing of the lighted dog collar is quickly noticed to avoid accidents which happen more times than we want to accept.  It would be better to take the pet child for walks during the daytime hours if at all possible, but most probably there are numerous pet parents that work away from home.  Dogs are our friends and companions and always remain faithful, so why not protect them in any way we can to remain a happy pet family.  Be Happy!

What a difference a day makes, now we have micro-adjustable dog safety collars that delivers the perfect fit, and comes is some wild colors which is kind of fun for the pet parent and their dog.  I bought one for my old Chocolate Lab and he really looks cool with the Lime Green Cinch-It Adjustable Dog Collar against his chocolate brown hair, it is micro-adjustable, odor and stain resistant and 100% water proof.  There are five other colors to choose from and has a quick release mechanism protected by a slide lock that eliminates over tightening and comes with a 3-year warranty.  Every pet child should have one or more dog collars for various use including rough and rugged, soft and sweet, fancy and jeweled for those tiny little ones, and one for training, and one for walking.

Identification tags as we are all aware of can help locate your dog if by some chance, they were to get lost, and information of their veterinarian’s location with proof of updated tags on current rabies shots is of utmost importance.  Dog collars are not only necessary for walking your dog, but training them as well using a suitable collar for that purpose.  Dog collars are sort of like a distinction of respect depending on the breed and size of the dog, and we all as pet parents want the best for our furry companion.  The main thought to keep in mind is to check your dog’s collar frequently, making sure that it is not too tight if they were caught on something and could not pull out of their collar avoiding a terrible disaster that could have been prevented.  Be Happy!

Illuminated Dog Collars Can Save You and Your Dog’s Life

Dogs need a dog safety collar walking at night along with other styles that are available.  There are jeweled, fashion, leather, reflector, lighted, and illuminated collars.  Identification tags with rabies expiration date, and tags that display information of the dog’s pet parents, and where they can be located is very important.  If there is no such information on the dog’s collar, most likely when caught, will be taken to the dog pound.  This is heart breaking losing your dog.

Of all the necessary accessories that a dog must have to be safe, a dog safety collar is most important.  Special fancy collars can be worn at any time, but the pet parent has the responsibility in caring for their dog in having the right kind of dog safety collar when going for walks at night.  Without it, trouble could be ahead if a vehicle cannot detect there is something ahead that could cause an accident.  Illuminated dog safety collars are affordable and you should not leave home without one around your dog’s neck.  Be Happy!

Walking Your Dog at Night Can Be Dangerous

It is amazing to see how many pet parents walk their dogs on a daily basis.  I see it all of the time in the area of which I live with parks and intermingling sidewalks that is so convenient in neighbors.  Some are very well lighted for not only pet parents walking their dogs, but also individuals wanting to take a walk during the cool of the early morning, or in the evening. Walking is a great way to exercise together and form a bond that is so necessary for companionship.

However, nighttime walking can be hazardous to you and your dog if you do not have proper lighting.  Flashlights are good, but may not be bright enough for vehicles being able to detect that someone is walking ahead. An incredible “senior pet care products dog vision support,” with an intense bright light was given the honor of the best-lighted dog light in 2008.  A vehicle can detect there is a pet parent and their dog walking a mile away so that they can be prepared to slow down avoiding an accident.  Be Happy!

Protect Your Dog With a Lighted Safety Collar

Pet parents take their dogs for walks on a regular basis, day or night providing exercise not only for their dog, but for themselves as well.  The most dangerous time is at night, which should not deter their routine. Dogs can get loose from their pet parents grip and run off down the street maybe even run into the path of an automobile.  The driver absolutely did not see the dog in time to stop before they either run over the dog that could become fatal, or hits them causing serious leg, hip and spine problems.  This probably does not happen as often as it use to because pet parents are more aware in taking better care of their furry friend, and pet safety products are more readily available than ever before toward their safety, especially for senior pet care products that also offer vision support.  Dogs that have a dark coat are doubly hard to see at night, so providing a lighted dog collar will alert the presence of your dog. Walking at night with your dog can be an attraction of assaults, robberies, or maybe even something worse.  Collars that have a bright light are a necessary pet safety item for night walking.

I would image that loud noises are frightening to some dogs, mine is horrified when the holidays that come around and fireworks begin. This is usually a public display, but in some of our neighborhoods, fireworks are constantly being set off, which by the way, is against the law in most cities.  One of the best investments you can make for the safety of your dog during their nighttime walk is an lighted dog collar.  The amount of money that you would spend on purchasing such a collar would not be anything compared to a nighttime accident that could take place revolving into a horrific veterinarian bill.  Some identification dog tags have a reflection, but not as dynamic as the lighted dog collar. Therefore, all in all what matters the most is the supervision that the pet parent gives to their pet.  Be Happy!
