Doggie’s love to go for rides with their pet parents and trying to get into the vehicle whether it is a high or low entrance is painful, so dog ramps for cars were introduced to aid in their mobility. It is so much easier for dogs to walk up a dog ramp offering protection to the dog’s joints preventing a painful experience in their mobility. Dog ramps for cars are also available for pickup trucks, vans, and SUV’s, and calculated to meet the dog’s size and height for entrance. Most of these dog ramps for cars can be folded for storage when not in use, but can also be used in getting up and down stairs, and some are telescopic for the distance required to extend the slope were the dog will be more comfortable. Be Happy!

Dog car ramps offer a safe and easy method for your pet child to walk up into your vehicle without injuring themselves, especially if they have any type of joint problems making it harder for them to jump in and out of your vehicle. Jumping into the vehicle not only affects large dogs, but small ones as well, and if your dog had other serious problems and had to have surgery, a dog car ramp would be a good investment for taking any pressure off your dog’s joints and limbs. Prior to your dog’s health problems jumping in and out of the vehicle was not a problem, but doing this on a regular basis most probably did not help the situation. I’m sure the pet parent does not want to leave their pet child at home just because of these health problems, they will still want to go for rides and be with their family, so if your dog needs a dog ramp, provide them with one that well ease their pain.

In choosing a dog car ramp, choose one that is appropriate for the size of your dog, and most of all, one that is lightweight making it easy to handle and can be folded for storage when not in use. Keep in mind the slope of the dog ramp will make a difference for your dog entering the car, van, or SUV. A lot depends on whether the dog will enter through a four-door car, a side entrance on a van, or from the back on a SUV using the tailgate. Any inference with the normal daily life can be reduced by methods offered by pet parents in relieving their dog’s pain by using a dog car ramp to still enjoy doggie life with minimal pain and be happy campers for as long as possible, and sometime with these methods, life does get easier and may possibly disappear in time. Be Happy!

Our faithful dogs depend on their pet parents to love them, nurture and feed them, maintain their safety and health, and always make sure they have plenty of water to drink. They want to please by being obedient with the training that their pet parent has taught them, but sometimes as we grow older, things change and we start having aches and pains. This can interfere with the normal way of life, and pain starts to set in your dog’s joints and hips. The joy of going for a ride begins to slow them down having the fear of having to jump up into the front or back seat.

Pet parents become caretakers so to speak, and provide ways for their dogs to enter their vehicle with less effort. This is where a dog ramp would benefit your dog by just walking up the dog ramp and into the vehicle, no jumping required. This is one of greatest ways in helping your dog to live a long and happy life with less pain because their dog ramp eliminates some of their pain. Our pets love is unconditional and taking care of your dog will leave you with the feeling of love and pride. Be Happy!

Do you ever wonder how it would be to be in pain trying to get in and out of your vehicle? Probably not, because nine times out of ten, you are a healthy pet parent and have a healthy dog. However, as dogs begin to age some steps should be taken that would help in their mobility. Elderly dogs that cannot walk up steps or climb into your vehicle need some sort of assistance, and that is where the dog ramp comes into place. They are so easy to handle and most will fold flat for storage. You can use the ramp most any place that your dog has trouble walking up heights. This is hard on their joints and the less pressure they have in movement the easier it will be for them. Most pet parents love to take their dog along for the ride and do not feel comfortable in leaving them behind. They are part of the family and always want to be near their owners. Your dog may still be able to jump up into your van and look perfectly normal in doing so, but someday you may notice them slowing down and going up slower than usual.

Most new pet parents would not even think about teaching a young dog to go up and down a ramp, but it may save difficulty in trying to adjust when they are older. One of the best ways to teach your dog to walk on their dog ramp is to lay it down on the ground and let me get the feel of the surface on their paws. A treat every few feet may help as well. Try even to set their food dish down on the ramp, it will not take them long to learn that all is okay. Some vehicles are harder than others are, because heights may differ, but teaching your dog to walk up their ramp will be a fun thing to watch, and could save some heartache as they grow older. The ramp will be easier for your dog if the ramp is longer to allow a lower degree of incline. This will make it so much easier for them to get in and out. Your dog may even have their own wheelchair and having the ramp for them to walk up on is the greatest gift you could possibly give them to be included in family activities. Dog ramps vary in size and strength according to your dog’s weight and size. There are small ramps for small dogs that provide the necessary incline for them to be comfortable in walking up and down. Make sure that there are side railings and good support to keep the dog ramp from sliding. Your dog may not like the feel of the grit surface at first, so gradually let them get use to it and the purpose of what it is for. Be Happy!

The reconstruction of my website has taken longer to complete than I previously thought. Again, I hope to have everything available before the end of the month. Every time one portion of the reconstruction is completed, another problem arises, that is how we learn and understand that there are faster and better ways in finalizing completion, to include additional products as they become available. Lots of detail involved like anything else when adding products to the Internet. KEEP A LOOK OUT of what’s coming! It shouldn’t be too much longer before you will be able to purchase directly from my website. There will continue to be available products that will refer you to your specific interest.

One of the new items is a shedding tool to remove your dog’s old hair so the new hair will look shiny and healthy. This awesome tool pulls the old hair from underneath which is hard to get with the regular combs used in brushing. Several styles of pet booster seats will be available, with one that folds and slides into the dog’s suitcase along with a bed. Really is a neat and convenient item. Tick collars will be available in keeping those nasty things from biting your dog and embedding themselves into their skin. Styles that are different from the ordinary dog crate, is a wicker dog crate that will conform to any home décor. A spray and gel product that will remove plaque and tarter on your dog’s teeth is effective for their dental care. One of the new dog ramps also offers a carrying bag to transport the dog’s car ramp. If not in use, it may be stored under your bed, or closet. Last, but not least is a ‘handi’ portable dog water dish that can be used to keep your dog hydrated on their long walks or rides in the car. Be Happy!

Petguardianangel and Petsafetyblog wish all a Happy Easter

I was just thinking the fun we had as children growing up and having Easter egg hunts on Easter Sunday. All the preparations ahead of time dying eggs, coloring them and creating delightful Easter baskets with goodies galore. Please keep in mind that dogs love chocolate, but do not give them any because it can be fatal. You do not want to experience a tragedy that could have been avoided. Give them one of their treats they love instead.

Just because we are not children anymore does not mean that this tradition should stop, and I am quite positive that it is still a celebration that will go on … Happy Easter , and Be Happy!

As age starts to set in those furry friends that we all love so much, it is time to think about what is needed to help them continue a normal life before pain is afflicted on your their body. As you notice the difference in your dog’s behavior and in moving around, waiting for something to happen, is not a conscientious decision in helping to solve the immediate problem. All too often, dogs will shy away from everyday routines and their personalities change because their fear of usual activities lessen due to pain. Large breeds will have more problems jumping up on furniture, or your bed, and should not do so. Veterinarians are very aware of what creates this problem and encourages pet parents to avoid this activity. I know we all want our pets to be close and cuddly, but remember that we all want to keep our pets healthy for as long as we have them in the pet family.

What can be done to help with this problem? Dog ramps are the answer. A lightweight affordable dog ramp is available and is perfect for mini-vans, couches, and more. The pet parent is better equipped to provide an easy way for their dog to get in and out of their vehicle with less strain on them. Ramps vary in size and weight depending on the need and purpose. Walking up and down on a pet ramp may not be exactly what your dog wants to do at first, but once they have become accustomed to the purpose, they will love it. A good way to encourage the use of the ramp is to lay it down on the floor or on the ground and wait for them walk on it by themselves. You could put a few treats on the ramp, or you can even set the dog’s food bowl down on the ramp. The feel under their paws may feel different at first, but they will become use to it. Use pet ramps in swimming pools and other places hard to reach. Pet ramps are portable and easy to handle. Most ramps fold for storage when not in use. To a smaller pet, or a toy breed they can be overwhelmed in trying to get up and down on the sofa, bed, or chair. It becomes a huge effort. So, keep in mind the strength of the ramp, the weight of your dog, and the distance to be used. Pay particular attention to the slope as well. Purchasing a dog ramp will be one of the best things you could ever do for your pet, and yourself. Be Happy!

I have been very busy continuing to add new products for all of you to consider. I hope that it will not be too much longer when all will be complete. Old products are going away and new products will be available very soon, so stay tune. It has been awhile back that I posted an article regarding dog ramps. It is something that should not be overlooked, because it will make your dog’s life and yours easier to accept their hardship in their lack of mobility as they age. Dog ramps are available to help your dog in having a way of getting in and out of your vehicle, and other areas that require assistance. After age sets in, their bodies start to deteriorate to some extent making it harder for them to get around like they once were able to and having pain in doing so, is very difficult. This will happen eventually to all of us aging pet parents sooner or later, so necessary accommodations are required to help the mobility that will require assistance, not only pet parents, but our companions as well.

Older dogs will be affected with arthritis, hip problems and other ailments that limit their activity, so providing a dog ramp for them to get in and out of your vehicle will be easier for them. I myself, have this problem with my dog, which is a Chocolate Lab going on 14 years old, and if you have followed my blog, have heard about my boy, Pope. He has been on medication for several years now and is still hanging in there. He wants to go upstairs, but I can see that it is painful, so he chooses to stay downstairs in the basement most of the time. There are two levels of steps. One is only four steps up and down, whereas, the ones going up to the top floor are eight steps above. My heart hurts when he tries to go upstairs to be with his pet family, so we eat all of our meals downstairs so we can all be together. After dinner in the evening, he still wants to play, so I throw his play toys for him and he runs after them until he gets tired. You know, I could go on and on about him, but I realize that this is not what this blog is all about. Dog ramps are in order, so keep this product in mind for further reference if your dog is still healthy. Taking care of your faithful friend whose love is unconditional, will always leave you with the feeling of love and pride in knowing that you have done your best. Be Happy!

For the last week and a half, I have been working very hard to be able to offer additional items to my website. I feel that many of these items will be exciting in continuing the development in choices to additional products to increase pet safety items…There are so many products available that will help pet parents take better care of their pet than ever before. It seems as though products continue to increase toward pet safety. There are amazing and fun dog leashes, pet stairs that relieve the stress of our dogs trying to get up on their favorite chair, sofa, or bed. There are dog crates constructed with silver and gold wire (of course not real good and silver) and of different varities, some fold for storage convenience, and there will be bags to use in traveling, going to the park for a picnic, or camping. Various dog crate covers to help your dog have a cozy area for relaxation and is available in several different colors and sizes to match your home décor.

Can you image having a crazy name for a Dog Leash. What fun that would be. A dog collar that will alert vehicles with bold red or steady light inside durable red nylon sleeve; visible from up to one mile at night, in low-light and in no-light situations. Our illuminated pet collar is the most technologically advanced illuminated pet collar on the market. These innovative and durable products feature a quick-release buckle that snaps on or off in seconds. The top positioned D-ring is compatible with all standard leashes and can be used as either a primary or a secondary collar. Features include lightweight, weather resistant, black nylon webbing with two rows of reflective stitching, and a quick-release buckle that snaps on or off in seconds combined with adjustable sizing, it is safe and shock proof. It has been rated to last up to 200 hours on one standard watch battery, which is included. I am very excited about these new items for additional pet safety products. Keep tune!!! Be Happy!

Your dog may be aging and wants to go for a ride with you. If you are like me, I love to take my dog with me, but he has a hard time getting into the SUV. Jumping up into a vehicle is very painful for a dog if there is a problem with their joints or hips. Arthritis may have started to become a health problem and moving around will be difficult. Watching your dog trying to walk around is heartbreaking, and because your aging dog is part of your family, you want to help them as much as possible to make life more comfortable and enjoyable.

There are many products designed to help your dogs mobility and will enable them to move around easily with less pain. Dog ramps are great to help them get into your vehicle instead of jumping up to get inside. Jumping is painful so as your dog ages, you must always be aware of your dog’s discomfort. The dog ramps are usually about 6 feet long, but can be longer to accommodate the slope required for them to walk up and down comfortably. There are telescopic dog ramps that slide inward for maneuvering easily, and are lightweight. There are ramps that fold, and are longer and wider, but this depends on where you need to use it. The slope is important in deciding the length, depending if your dog likes to ride in the back of a pickup truck, a boat, an automobile, or an SUV. Whichever you choose will be affordable and you and your dog will get many fun times together, going for a ride. Be Happy!
