The shedding that a dog does is usually late spring to early fall and is a natural way of ridding the old hair to make room for the new.  Some dogs may shed more than others depending on their breed and the more a pet parent can brush their pet child’s coat the healthier their coat will be.  Dandruff goes along while shedding due to the dryness of the undercoat, and using a dog shedding tool helps pull the excess loose hair out while gently pulling the dog shedding tool through the pet child’s coat. Are you wondering what in the world is a dog shedding tool?

This dog shedding tool is a FURminator relating to senior pet care and does not cut the hair, and is a wonderful product in removing all the loose undercoat that needs to come out to let the new hair grow.  It is a new grooming tool and you will wonder how you ever did without owning one for your pet.  The area in which you live has a bearing on the amount of shedding the pet child does, controlling house temperatures has a great deal to do with it as well.  It is a real problem in the pet family home with all the dog  hair that sheds and seems to be everywhere, but what a nuisance trying to keep up with getting rid of the dog hair by constant vacuuming, so consider the FURminator where the edge is available in Small: 1.75″,  Medium: 2.65″, and Large: 4″.    Be Happy!

Happy Birthday Pope!

Yesterday was my Chocolate Labs 14th birthday and he rested most of the day so he would be fresh for his evening celebration in playing with his pet parents and having his vanilla ice cream that has been a ritual ever year for 14 years. His health problems have now changed drastically, but he is hanging in there trying to enjoy what life there is before the doggie angel comes.  He has a personality like no other of my dogs have ever had, but this boy knows everything that is going to happen before it actually happens, and does he ever have a mind of his own, he only wants to do what he wants to do, when he wants to do it, but you know that is okay.  I brushed him for about 20 minutes yesterday morning with his “furminator” that is new for grooming which I refer to as a dog shedding tool  , so he would be more handsome for his birthday celebration, and you would not believe the amount of hair that came out with this amazing grooming tool.

I have spoiled him to no end, but why not, he has earned that title long before he actually knew what that word meant.  I talk to him all of the time during the course of the day, ask him how he is feeling, etc. and he looks at me with those hugh brown eyes as though to say, “thank you for asking Mom, but not too good.”  He now stays downstairs in the family room where there are fewer stairs because he can no longer go up and down the other stairs, which is much higher. He watches TV at night with us, especially the baseball games, and when he is ready to play, will stand in front of me and stare , telling me it is now play time, but the most important thing last night before playing was “where is my ice cream?” Be Happy!

Be Kind To Your Dog During Their Shedding Season

Different breeds have different types of hair that cause more problems than others, some are short haired, others long haired, but also the texture is different from coarse to fine, and straight to curly.  Shedding is the natural way that some dogs shed more than others but this is their way of ridding the old hair to make room for the new.  Not all pet parents have time to brush their dog every day to help stimulate the shedding for new growth, but whenever possible any amount of brushing will help.  There are various types of tools that will eliminate loose hair, but the greatest one that I have found is the FURminator.

The fantastic senior pet care product offereing the new grooming dog shedding tool , rids the excessive hair that attacks the dog’s undercoat where loose dead hair needs to be removed avoiding overly excessive shedding.  Some thick haired dogs shedding their hair comes out in clumps when pulled by hand which shows the amount produced during the shedding season.  I personally use the FURminator on my old Chocolate Lab who sheds immensely starting in the spring and usually continues throughout the summer months, and I must report that he loves the grooming part and will just lay there for any length of time that I have for him.  The more that you can use the dog shedding tool, the better it is for your dog’s coat, and doing so brings out the luster that looks and remains healthy until the shedding season starts all over again.  Be Happy!

A Magnificent Dog Shedding Tool

If you have a dog who has a heavy coat of hair and are constantly shedding, you need a dog shedding tool  (new grooming furminator) in removing all of the excess hair, and avoid constant brushing.  This tool is magnificent in removing their undercoat that is hard to remove with just a brush or comb, and the amount of hair that comes out using the furminator is unbelievable.  It is hard keeping up with their shedding but that is their natural way of making room for new hair growth, but it makes it so much easier on the pet parent using the dog shedding tool on a regular basis.  You will absolutely be amazed at the incredible amount of dog hair removed by this dog shedding tool.

Keeping your dog brushed along with using the furminator will maintain a healthy and shiny coat.  During the heat of the summer, dogs get very hot with having so much hair; their skin may become irritated by them scratching excessively.  There may be some pet lovers or members of their family, who are allergic to dog hair, and if this were the case, purchasing a dog with long and thick hair would not be a wise decision because of shedding.  Short haired dogs shed some, and some do not shed at all, so in deciding which way to go, ask your veterinarian for recommendations, but whichever is decided upon you still need to brush their coat for maintenance.  Be Happy!

Fabulous Shedding Tool for Thick Haired Dogs

The fabulous new furminator grooming tool, which is a dog shedding tool for removing hair from large dogs during their shedding season, is so awesome.  Some large and small dogs do not have excess hair, but the ones that do; removing all of the hair is of utmost importance in keeping their skin and hair healthy, and shinny.  Regular brushing helps to minimize the shedding process and excess dandruff.  Do not use this shedding tool on large or small dogs when shedding is minimal.

I have been using this particular shedding tool for quite some time on my dog.  He has an excessive amount of hair and when shedding, he starts scratching because of the dryness of his skin.  Consult your veterinarian on the proper diet that has all the right vitamins for your dog to have a healthy coat.  Shedding is necessary for dogs so new hair can grow back and then the cycle starts all over again.  The dog shedding tool pulls out the undercoat of hair in unbelievable amounts.  This is a product, which is invaluable in keeping your dog clean and healthy.  Be Happy!

Is Your Dog Shedding Their Hair?

Some dogs shed more than others depending on their breed, but shedding is necessary for a new coat to replace the old.  The locality where you live in raising your dog makes a difference to the extent of their shedding. If your dog is a housedog, monitoring the temperature in your home is important and the time of the year is another factor. Winter shedding is to a minimum, but increases during the spring and summer months; therefore, excessive shedding occurs.  Again, that does depend on the breed of your dog.  Hair that is in the shedding mode usually will just fall out, but rubbing your hand across their back and sides releases an extensive amount as well.  This is where brushing comes into place. The more you brush your dog the better it is during this particular time, but brushing frequently will benefit your dog to have a healthy coat. Have you ever noticed that it looks as though your dog has dandruff?  This goes along with shedding and is a nuisance to some extent.

Maintaining a good healthy diet is important because of the various vitamins in the dog food you feed them, but always check what the ingredients are to make sure you are feeding the right kind. You may want to consult your veterinarian for the proper diet to maintain a healthy coat, and ask what vitamins are the best for your dog. Regular dog brushes are great for brushing, but a dog shedding tool that is a senior pet care product ,is not only for seniors.  It is an awesome tool to use during your dog’s shedding process and reduces shedding up to 90%.  This is a shedding tool that all pet parents might want to consider.  It does a great job removing the thick and loose undercoat of breeds that have heavy and thick hair. (Note: It would not be a good idea to use this tool for shorthaired dogs.) Using the shedding tool will make your dogs topcoat shiny and healthy.  Dogs that shed heavy hair frequently can be a problem in your home, and some people have allergies toward dog hair and dander.  So trying to keep any excess hair picked up will eliminate problems such as this.  Be Happy!
