Dog Vehicle Barriers Will Protect Your Dog From Injury
It seems as though there are many stories about dogs riding in vehicles involved in accidents more often than we want to hear, and could have been prevented if only the pet parent had paid attention to the products available that can save a dog’s life when riding in the family vehicle. Installing dog vehicle barriers are simple and once in place are very strong in protecting your dog from flying into the front seat in case of a sudden stop, or even a fender bender. It is so dangerous letting your dog have the run of the vehicle while the pet parent is driving and I am sure that the possibility of a distraction is evident when the pet child is not confined. Dog vehicle barriers are especially popular with large dogs and if I were to guess how the pet child takes over in their family home and is always demanding attention, then I would not be surprised that the same scenario happens in the family vehicle.
Times have changed letting your children have the run of the vehicle, playing, laughing, and sometime even fighting, now that is against the law. Children under certain ages must be in a car seat, and the parent must be wearing a seat belt, so why would you not want to protect your furry friend as well. If your pet child is small the dog vehicle barrier would not be a safe thing to have, but dog car seats are available to protect them better because restriction is safer. Dog vehicle barriers are different sizes and shapes according to the type of vehicle you have, so if you have a SUV, or a two door or four door, the dog barriers will fit properly with the design in keeping not only the pet child safe, but the pet parent as well. Be Happy!
Consider Dog Vehicle Barriers For You And Your Dog
There cannot be enough said regarding dogs having the run of the family vehicle while going for rides, or even traveling because this is such a dangerous situation in putting you and your dog in jeopardy. If confining your pet child to one area of the vehicle is not acceptable to the pet parent, then perhaps the pet child should stay home, or in case of traveling, dog kennels take very good care of pets. There are times that avoiding sudden stops are unavoidable where accidents cause serious injuries, even fatalities. Dog vehicle barriers are for large dogs that cannot fit into a dog booster seat, or a traveling crate of some kind, so worrying about those little ones is important in having protection, but not as important as letting a large dog loose in the front or back seat.
Depending on what type of vehicle the pet parent has, choices of different dog vehicle barriers are available to fit any SUV, passenger cars, or compact cars. Why pet parents do not bother to have a dog vehicle barrier, I am not sure because it is such a safety factor, not only for the pet child, but avoids distraction to the pet parents. The prices vary depending on the style, and there are styles that even if you have a sports car with bucket seats will fit perfectly avoiding the pet child thrown into the front seat in a sudden stop. We, the pet parent cherish our small, medium and large pets and want to do everything we can to protect them, as we do for our children and ourselves when out on the road. Be Happy!
Taking care of our pets and keeping them safe and healthy shows the love we all possess toward the pet child that we have brought into our home, and everything that you do in protecting them shows instantly, so why do pet owners allow their dogs to run back and forth in the bed of their pickup? There are many concerns when you are driving along and a pickup passes you with their dog running loose, please be a little more cognizant of your pet’s safety. Most of the time pickups are outside and during the heat of the summer, and the bed will actually burn your dog’s paws, bet you do not believe that, but test it out with your hand and see how it feels. The pet parent is inside a nice air-conditioned cab; why not share that pleasure with them as well.
Another concern is dogs running back and forth in the back seat of a vehicle sticking their head out the window. The pet parent that allows this to happen does not understand how detrimental this is to their dog, especially to their breathing and possibly causing eye infections. Dog vehicle barriers are a safety feature in minivans, SUV’s, and wagons, and offer different types of dog vehicle barriers preventing dogs from jumping back and forth over the back seat. This type of behavior causes a distraction to their pet parent, so please be aware of what methods are available to keep your dog safe. Be Happy!
Which Would Be Cheaper, Dog Vehicle Barriers, Or The Cost of Medical Bills?
There are thousands perhaps million of pet parents who own dogs, but for some reason, have negative remarks about keeping their dogs safe. They ignore products
that are made especially for pet safety and for whatever reason, pay no attention and generally use the phrase, “I’m not going to put any money out on my dog like that, it is not necessary, they do just fine on their own without all of that stuff.” However, guess what, they spend money on everything else that pleases the pet parent and thinks nothing of it. The prices on safety products are not that expensive and well worth it, but if there is an accident that could have been avoided, imagine the cost out of their pocket taking them to the veterinarian treating injuries obtained from an accident.
Dog vehicle barriers placed between the front and back seats prevent the dog from jumping back and forth causing a disturbance between the pet parent and their dog. This bad habit of doing this usually causes loud commands of some sort trying to get
the dog to behave, well whose fault is that. Certainly not the dogs, they depend on their pet parent and do not know any different in protecting themselves, they are having fun checking out all of the activities outside the vehicle, but the pet parent knows the difference. Check out the dog vehicle barriers that would fit into the type of vehicle you have, price them according to the need in protecting your dog and figure out what would be best for both of you, a barrier of some sort to keep them safe, opposed to dishing out bundles if they were hurt with the pet parents’ negligence. Be Happy!
