For pet lovers, it’s hard to think about not having a pet in their home. They become part of your life, and a companion who is always faithful to their pet parent. They are able to detect if you are not feeling well, and will usually stay close at hand to offer their love and friendship. Some people will probably think pet lovers are out of their minds in having such joy and happy feelings when they are around, but let’s face it, those people are minorities these days. Do you know that most pet parents will live longer by having a pet, and will always have a wonderful feeling of satisfaction?

There are many personalities within the different breeds of dogs and cats. Cats are usually house cats and stay within their boundaries in offering companionship to their pet parents. Dogs can be house dogs as well, but their association among the public can be quite different in that association. Guide dogs are wonderful companions and allow their pet parents to go places that would not have been possible if it were not for these guide dogs. Work dogs usually live out in rural areas and help their pet parent keep control over their livestock. They herd sheep, goats, and cows from out in the pastures to the animal barns where the farmer feeds, milks and make sure all is okay. Have you ever seen a dog herd sheep? It’s amazing and so wonderful to watch. Hunting dogs can retrieve game and loves running out in the fields and pastures. It is so important for these dogs to have the proper identification on their safety dog collars in case they were to get lost.  Trained dogs of this nature, somehow being lost would devastate their pet parent. These dogs will make any pet parent proud in owning such a wonderful obedient and faithful friend.  Be Happy!
